Fridge Raider is website and mobile application that allows users to enter the ingredients in their fridge and get back a wide variety of delicious recipes. Users can share their recipes with others using social media and can log in to save their favorite recipes or submit new ones. Recipes can be filtered by type or cuisine. To build this project we used technologies including: React, Redux, Neo4J Graph DB, Node.js, Travis CI, and Firebase.
I was responsible for building the front end of this project. This included connecting the back end to the front end, styling the page, deciding on and executing the UI, as well as building out all front end functionality.
This project delivers customers a method of finding recipes that makes the most of what they have on hand. This reduces waste and makes recipes more attainable, as consumers are less like;y to need to leave and find ingredeints.
